Resumen
Muchos son los fenómenos actuales de posverdad en salud. En la oncología, las creencias relativas al origen psicológico del cáncer continúan resistiéndose a la evidencia que plantea que no existiría una relación causal entre aspectos psicológicos y la emergencia y/o progreso de la enfermedad.
La psicogénesis del cáncer como posverdad encapsula la evidencia y la permuta por opiniones que se comunican y aceptan como verdades científicas, afectando la salud física, mental y el derecho a la autonomía de los pacientes.
Los profesionales de salud contamos con la principal conjugación de herramientas para enfrentar la posverdad: el conocimiento científico y la relación clínica.

Abstract
Many are the current phenomena of post-truth in health. In oncology, beliefs related to a psychological origin of cancer continue resisting the evidence given that there is no causal relationship between psychologial aspects and the onset and/or progress of the disease.
The psychogenesis of cancer as a post-truth encapsulates the evidence and the exchange of opinions that are communicated and accepted as scientific truths, which affects patients’ physical and mental health and their right to autonomy.
Healthcare professionals manage the main combination of tools to face post-truths: scientific knowledge and the clinical relationship.
